Important Notification from Lennar & City of Foley
Proper Memorial Day Flag Protocol:
- Sunrise to Noon: Fly at half-staff (lowered to the half-way point of the pole).
- Noon to Sunset: Raise the flag to full-staff (the top of the pole).
- Procedure: Always hoist the flag to the peak for an instant before lowering it to half-staff, and raise it to the peak again before lowering it at sunset.
- Alternative: If you cannot lower your flag, you may attach a black ribbon or streamer to the top of the pole as a sign of mourning.
